Lasith Malinga Retirement, He Retires from All Forms of Cricket

A very popular bowler for his bowling action and deadly yorker Sri Lankan fast bowler non other than Lasith Malinga announced his retirement from all forms of the cricket on Tuesday. Its one sadder news for cricket lover and Sri Lankan fans who loves to watch him.


Sri Lanka Fast Bowling icon Lasith Malinga announced his retirement from all forms of the cricket.

Lasith Malinga has thanked all the teams for which he has played with love and gratitude and also thanked and shows love for his fans who has supported and motivated him as per the time fly.

“Hanging up my #T20 shoes and #retiring from all forms of cricket! Thankful to all those who supported me in my journey, and looking forward to sharing my experience with young cricketers in the years to come,” the 38-year-old Lasith Malinga has tweeted on his twitter handles and attached a video of special announcement for his retirement with his tweet.

Lasith Malinga had made his debut for Sri Lanka in a Test against Australia on July 1, 2004. He is also Known for his ability to bowl deadly yorkers, Lasith Malinga played a crucial role in Sri Lanka reaching the final of the 2011 World Cup. He then went on to lead Sri Lanka to the 2014 T20 World Cup trophy. During his playing, he has breakdown too many records as a bowler. He was a nightmare for most of the batsman till that time and especially in the 2011 world cup.
