As per Indian Premier league report 2021, South African right-handed batsman and Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper AB de Villers joined his team in Chennai at 14th season of Indian Premier League ahead of their campaign opener against last year defending champions Mumbai Indians.

AB de Villiers arrived in Chennai to join his team in the 14th season of IPL 2021 once again, as IPL 2021 kicks off on April 9th in Chennai.

The franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore said through an Instagram post on Thursday about the arrival of superstar batsman AB de Villiers in Chennai. This time once again Virat Kohli will lead his team but will face last year trophy defending champions Mumbai Indians in the first match of this season of IPL.

Franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore also mentioned in his post that “the spaceship has landed”, referring AB de Villiers as an alien.

This time Royal Challengers Bangalore has Glenn Maxwell in his team as all-rounder and New Zealand’s Kyle Jamieson in the player auction for the 14th season of IPL as they took to lift their maiden IPL title this season. Royal Challengers Bangalore are one of the three teams who are yet to get hands on the IPL trophy including with Punjab XI and Delhi Capitals. Players like AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Kyle Jamieson, Adam Zampa and Finn Allen in the RCB team.
